Everything you need for your first session in Teleo!

About Teleo

Teleo is a virtual therapy room, customizable for each client, with four main components:

Teleo rooms contain interactive items that launch activities when clicked and allow you and your client to engage together.

Use the Teleo Activity Bank or add your own activities and interventions (images, PDFs, websites).

Teleo can also be used in Talk Mode by expanding the video thumbnails.

Creating an account

  1. Click “Sign up” at the bottom of the page.

  2. Enter an email and password, and click the yellow “Sign up” button. You can also choose to create an account using your Google login information.

  3. Check your email for a verification code, and enter the code where prompted.

Signing in to Teleo

  1. Enter your email and password for your account, and click “Sign in”.

Opening your Teleo room

  1. Once you've logged in, click “Open Room” to open your virtual therapy space.

  2. Visit these articles to explore how to use activities and edit rooms.

Inviting your client

  1. You can choose to share your personal waiting room link by

    1. clicking the “Copy Link” button on your clinician home page

    2. OR you can click "Send" to email your link to the client

  2. You can also choose to invite your client by clicking the “Invite” button where you'll have the option to:

    1. Copy your waiting room link

    2. OR send your waiting room link directly to your client via email by entering their address in the “To:” field

  3. Admit your client from the waiting room using the banner alert at the top of your screen, or by clicking on “Waiting” in the control panel:

  4. You also have the option to send a message to your client while they are in the waiting room via the Teleo Chat:

  5. “Client is connected” will appear when your client joins, and you should also be able to see their cursor moving.

    👍 Pro Tip: Practice inviting a client

    Use an incognito browser tab to practice inviting a client and see what they’ll experience in the waiting room.

Using activities in the room

Click on the interactive items in the room to get started! Both you and your client can click on items to launch and engage in activities.

Editing the room

For any interactive items in your Teleo room, you can change the activity it's linked to, change the icon used to represent each activity, or delete the item.

To change the activities that are linked to the items in the room:

  1. Hover over the item in the room that you want to edit until you see the pencil icon appear.

  2. Click on the pencil icon, which will open the Activity Bank on the righthand side of your screen.

  3. Click the activity of your choosing from the Activity Bank in the side panel, or add your own using the "+Add Activities" button in the Activity Bank.

  4. Finish editing the room by clicking the “x” on the side panel.

  5. Changes are saved automatically.
