Yes, Teleo automatically enrolls new users in a 10-session free trial of our Unlimited plan. There is no time limit to this trial – you may take any amount of time to complete your 10 free sessions. After that, you will be automatically converted to Teleo’s free plan of 5 sessions per month or may upgrade as needed.

The Free plan allows 10 client records whereas Plus and Unlimited plans have unlimited client records. If you have more than 10 client records when downgrading, you will still have access to view to all previous records after you downgrade; however, all client records after your first 10 become unloadable when admitting a client from the waiting room. Since HIPAA compliance requires mapping each client to their own client record, to admit a new client into your Teleo room after downgrading requires upgrading back to Plus or Unlimited, or deleting client records until you have availability in the Free plan.

The Free plan allows 10 custom activities, the Plus plan allows 50 custom activities, and the Unlimited plan allows unlimited custom activities. If you have more than 50 client records when downgrading to the Plus plan, or more than 10 client records when downgrading to the Free plan, your custom activities above the limit can no longer be added to the room. You will still have access to view these custom activities in your account after you downgrade, but you won’t be able to add new custom activities without upgrading or deleting custom activities above your limit.

You will not be able to admit clients into the room if you are out of sessions. Upgrading your account while your client is in the waiting room takes ~30 seconds and will not kick them out.
To ensure this doesn’t happen, our session counter allows you to monitor usage in Teleo. When you’re getting low, we’ll warn you with an orange icon near the settings button. When you’re out, this icon turns red. Once red, you can upgrade plans to unlock more sessions in Teleo, or wait until your monthly usage limit resets - aligned with your billing cycle.
