Extracting clients for one-on-one check-ins can be beneficial for several reasons:
Orientation for clients on their first day of group.
Reviewing safety concerns noted in their check-in forms.
Conducting individual therapy sessions.
Pulling clients for a med management or nurse check in.
Supporting an emotionally escalated client with regulation skills and safety planning.
Step 1: Identify the client you need to extract.
Locate the client's group in the command center and identify if the client is in group, is in session, or in the waiting room
Step 2: Initiate extraction
Click the Bring to Private Room icon in the far right-hand side of the Clients row in the Command Center.
Step 3: Meet with your client
You and the client will be in an individual Teleo room in talk mode. Here you can connect one-on-one and even pull in collaborative activities from the right-hand side panel or the activity bank.
Step 4: Return your client to group or the waiting room
Once your meeting with the client is complete, click the icon for either Return to Group or Return to Waiting Room in the bottom clinician control panel to send them back accordingly.
