You are ready to start meeting with your clients in Teleo! Below are helpful tips to get started:

Set Up Your Space

Make your room inviting and ready for client engagement by creating a space as unique as your client. See this article for information on editing your Teleo room.

  • Pick a rapport-building intervention from the activity bank to help break the ice with your new client.

  • Upload a Get to Know Me Poster or other activity from your own collection of interventions.

  • Personalize the Poster with a welcome message and your client’s name.

⭐ Quick Tip

Click on the “Topic” drop-down box and filter interventions by “rapport building”.

Tour The Space With Your Client

Familiarize your client with the features and tools in the virtual room, allowing them to feel more comfortable and in control.

⭐ Quick Tip

Add the Teleo activity, Treasure Hunt, to help your young clients explore their room in a fun and engaging way.

Provide Choices To Personalize The Room

Engage your clients in taking ownership of the virtual space by customizing it to their preferences during the session.

  • Clients can select different virtual backgrounds to create a welcoming and comfortable space.

  • Ask your client for input on an activity to play together.

  • Clients can create and personalize their own poster for their room

⭐ Quick Tip

Use the whiteboard to draw a picture together. Create a snapshot and upload it as a poster!
